Future

I applied for an internship thinking it was in LA but ended up being in NY. I submitted my resume and links to my portfolios...and got a response back!!
Alice + Olivia took the time out to respond and show interest in ME and have confidence in the fact that I'm a good candidate!
I couldn't stop smiling when I got the email! The fact that such an amazing company, one that I admire greatly, looked at my work and resume and liked it is such a great honor.

I'm definitely excited for the opportunities ahead and I'm not letting anyone get in my way.

I'm not going to lie...I have a huge girl crush on Victoria Beckham! The fact that she was a Spice Girl makes her even better! I'm a BIG fan of her fashion collection, style and look. I hate the word "fabulous" but shes is fab! I'd love to intern or work for her line in the future. Below are sick pictures that I may want to recreate in the future :)

Back in the states...

It's been over a week and I'm back to my old life...

I had a blast in London and feel blessed that I get to travel like this. This has seriously been a dream of mine and it's actually coming true...but it's still a crappy situation.

 I was surprised with a 2 night stay in Bath, UK and a 3hr slot at Thermae Bath Spa in the evening :) I loved this trip even more the the 1st and 2nd because I felt as if I lived there. We had plenty of lazy days and days with some adventures. Going out on Friday night in the city was the best!

Baby pup

Winnie and Dr. Shane are expecting a baby boy in November...so I decided to make him a lil baby jumper! It was so much fun to make...and kind of a struggle to match the center front print..but it was a blast!

I stared at it everyday for 4 days straight... it was tooo cute!

London in November!!!!!!!!!! Can you sense my excitement??? I'm ready to see the city lights and explore once again. Especially excited to go to...TOPSHOP!! I die when I go there...die.

So to sum up my September...I've been keeping busy. Working full time again :( Sewing and doing side projects!

I need to make mo money and pay off a lot of bills...but I'm not going to worry about that.

I'm FB free and now m.i.a. from that world. Figured people that actually want to keep in touch with me...will keep in touch by other means. I'm kind of sick of reading up on peoples lives...we're getting to old for it! But...I'm sure I'll get out of that phase and reactivate it lol.

My birthday was a blast, shared it with people that actually care about me & true friends that can actually take time out and celebrate with me.

I'm starting to buy fabrics and sew! That's a good sign :) Drawing up some exciting things ;)

I'm still not 100% satisfied with the 8-5 job situatuion...but I gotta pay my rent to avoid moving back to Victorville...but at least I'll always have a home to run to.

Well...that's enough for now. Time to clean up room and go to sleep for another day of stinking work.

End of July/August and a little of September

I had such an amazing summer. My London boy decided to stay for 6 weeks! The longest trip we've had together other then the 2 week trip I had in London in April.

We had a BLAST!

I had such a memorable time and was soooo happy to actually have my own room this time, no more $$ on hotels! From dinners, to water-parks, safari zoo, Vegas, VH1 awards taping, bowling, ...the whole time that stink was here I had a great time.I was even more happy when I was able to leave him with my family without any worries. It's still a crazy situation, but I know we'll figure it out and end up being together...I hope! While he was here my car got broken into AGAIN!!! Same exact thing that happened exactly a year ago. Thankfully he was there to fix it all for me :) I wish I can catch those a$$holes in action!...too bad my car needs a microchip key, geniuses.

During this time I also signed on to create 8 bridesmaid dresses due by September 7th...8! So in between having an amazing time with my boy, I had endless nights sewing their beautiful dresses. I had a ton of help from my friend Cat, from college. I owe her BIG! I just went to the wedding this weekend and couldn't help but smile to myself, everything look great! Even my mom made the flower girl dress and the decorative pillow, over 40! It was a beautiful wedding and I was so happy to see the couple celebrating their love.

I also went to the VMA's on Thursday :) I managed to take my boy to LAX on Wednesday :( cry my eyes out until 9pm...and made a new dress from 9:15-2:30am! It was out of the same fabric from the bridesmaid dresses, a very simple baby doll sheath dress...and super cute! It was a lot of fun...but not really worth the 4 hour wait in the hot sun. I did enjoy seeing Drake aka Jimmy Brooks! 

After the amazing, memorable month...I'm back to working 8-5/5x's a week with no boy to go home to.

I've also just turned 24 on Sept. 21! I went to San Diego with the girls for the weekend :) and Disneyland after my birthday dinner at Benihana's!
