Alexis Evelyn: February 25th Photoshoot

Such a great shoot on Saturday, February 25th. We got ready at my place then headed off the Newport Beach. The weather was deceiving: hot at first then freezing later. The models were fantastic and great troopers wearing my dresses in the cold. Heather just kept shooting and guided the models while I was organizing the next look with Helena.  The crew was amazing and can't wait to work with them again!

A BIG thank you to:

Even jealous of myself!...

I had yet another great day on Sunday, February 26th 2012 in Hollywood. My sister, Bernadette, and I got the chance to become a Red Carpet Insider for the Oscar's. We were in shock when we both found out we were able to attend! There were a lot of restrictions on what we could wear so I was worried I wouldn't be able to rock an Alexis Evelyn outfit. I decided to wear my lovely wool plaid coat with sea foam green striped silk lining. My sister wore my newest navy peasant embroidered sheath dress with navy polka dot side panels. We looked pretty :) Once we got back to our car after the event we were bombarded with texts and emails saying they saw us on EVERYTHING!! Soo happy we actually have legit proof of us being there (couldnt bring cameras). Enjoy the pictures! I still can't believe we went! At least I can say that my garments were seen on the red carpet ;) So thankful to live in California, sometimes!

Fashion Industy...

It's crazy how small this industry is...it's BIZARRE!!...something that came to my mind right now :P

Alexis Evelyn: Photoshoot-February 05, 2012

Shot on Sunday with LWFotografia and Meghan Mooberry in Riverside. I was lucky to have my good friend, Helena Reed, assist and carpool with me :) Shay, photographer, had the shoot set up in her garage and was prepared with racks, irons and a handy robe.
Makeup artist cancelled...HATE THAT! So Meghan, model, was generous enough to volunteer and do her own hair and makeup, which looked great :)

Shoot was around 2 1/2 hours. It was fun and exciting to see some of the newer dresses shot.
