'Nsync is here!

On Sunday...5am my time...the best thing in the world happened!!! 'Nsync actually performed together since almost more than a decade!!! This was such a big deal to me and my sis', so I had to Skype into their 'Nsync party and watch it live with them :)

I'll admit...once they popped up from the stage...I cried! It was the coolest thing I've seen since seeing them live! I don't even think they understand how much of an impact they've made in girls lives, but I was so obsessed with them in elementary/middle school/high school that I didn't even worry about having a boyfriend...because I had 5...as lame as that sounds!

They kept playing us all week, saying there's no reunion and they'll never get back together...but they did!! They tried to trick us! The fact that 'Nsync is trending on Facebook/Twitter is AWESOME!! They were broken up when Myspace came out, so I never got to talk about them or make posts about them lol.

For this special night I made sure to wear my Justin Timberlake tank and have a cup of coffee close while watching the VMA's!

Ahhh! I keep watching it and it makes me soo happy!!!!!! Man, I love 'Nsync! <3<3

Week 9: Alexis Evelyn Living in London!

This week has been kind of low key. I've been going to the gym and hanging out with my boy until he goes to work at 6p-3am. I started cutting my newest dress and sewing...which turned out to be a disaster! The voltage out here is insane and managed to blow my light bulb out and cause my motor to run out of control :(

We're going to fix it soon...at least I managed to get the bodice sewn!
Here's the new fabric I bought :) I've already started on a super cute dress and still have a few meters left!

On the first week of living here I met a super nice girl named Nelly, I was having problems with using my Oyster card, to get on tube, and she helped me out! We got along pretty well on the tube while on out way to work. We swapped info and have been trying to meet up since!
Finally we were able to on Thursday :) I had a blast! We went to Revolution Bar and from there walked all around Oxford Circus and hit a few places. It was a lot of fun :) We took the tube/bus home and got home around 11:45pm-ish.
It kind of felt like we were in Hollywood, it was pretty similar. There aren't many dancing clubs though, it's more like chill pubs with some music. Everyone tries to hit happy hour deals before prices rise and get depressing to buy more. Some girls had such cute outfits and others had on work clothes. I'm not the type to stare people up and down in an obvious way, but sometimes I can't help myself here because they have such cute style here!

Photo: Yay!

On Saturday afternoon we went to Time for Tea! I love this place and always get excited to get here, because it's so freaking cute! After we ate we went back to his step dad's to play with his dog, Mia :)
She's so cute and I took a few videos of her chasing her tail like a maniac!

On Saturday night we went to dinner with my boys mom and her friends. We went to a Turkish restaurant up the road and were automatically given drinks...
I had about 3 glasses of white wine, a load of meats and rice...and shots of something disgusting. Before we knew it everyone was out of it and brought the party back to his house. I remember dancing to Justin Timberlake and holding they're dog...then I was in bed. I didn't even expect to drink that night, and paid for it on Sunday :(
We weren't able to get up and go on a little trip we planned the day before, which made me sad, but it was no ones fault!
I love when you wake up the next morning, check to make sure you have your purse and ID then check you camera for pics...and there are pics!

That was a lot of fun...but I'm never letting my guard down around parents! They love giving me drink after drink and I never decline :(

Can't wait for the next week...and the next after that!!

Week 8: Alexis Evelyn Living in London!

Today we decided to check out the British Museum! This place was pretty awesome! We went straight to the Ancient Egypt Exhibition. That was so cool, but it was packed with tourist...boo!
We looked around and talked about coffins and mummies of individuals, but also furniture, fine jewellery and other burial goods. I don't know why but ever since I was little I've always been interested in this type of stuff :)
I've never actuallly seen a mummy in such good condition...it was nuts. After we had to rush home so he can get ready for his night shift :(

Justin keeps playing with us! He's slowly releasing the name of his tracks <3 Man I LOVE him!!

Sooo tempted to buy an ipad...I feel like it could be a god investment in the long run and work as a good portfolio for interviews and easily accessible for fashion shows. Boy this is expensive though!

Made dinner for my boy today...it's sad that this is the only thing I feel comfortable making for other people.

Yay Saturday night dinner at home :) Steak, sweet potato and corn on the cob...yummm!

On Sunday we took a little trip on the South Bank! It was a little crowded, but it was fun because it was lively. We walked around a I learned a little history on the buildings and river. We found a Mexican food truck and boy I was excited to finally eat a burrito! After that we grabbed an ice cream and walked along the river. I was mad because I forgot my camera and only had my itouch...boo! After walking around for 2 hours we went back home and had Sunday dinner waiting for us on the table :)

My friend since high school sent me a letter from Cali! I was so excited :) Its funny how it's still cool to get mail/ have a pen pal! Thanks, Allina!!

Ahhhhh JT will be in London again on September 29th! Too bad I can't apply for the raffle...because I'm a "US" citizen...booo!! I've applied under his account so hopefully we'll win!!!

Can't wait for the next week...and the next after that!!
