Hair Stylists DVD

On September 22, day after my birthday :), and September 26 I was honored to be a part of an educational production for hairstylist. This is a revolutionary DVD that was created to teach hairstylist how to cut by educators from the school of Paul Mitchell.

The crew was awesome and very patient! This was a cool experience, not only did I get to view a taping for a DVD, where over 50,000 will be distributed, but I got the opportunity to shoot with professional photographers that have impressive portfolios!

My mom, like always, was a great help in organizing and dressing the models. Each girl came in with the purpose to get their hair cut and styled while being filmed, which was very ballsy of them! One had long hair below the shoulders and left with a very short haircut; she looked great!

I was given great compliments; the greatest of all was when one model asked how long I've been collecting vintage garments, I laughed, and told her I made everything!! She was shocked.
Also, most of the crew thought I was the stylist that pulled these pieces from stores etc; I let them know I was the designer and they are surprised :)  The most compliments given were from the guys!

Although these photos are cheap, took on Blackberry, here's an idea of what went on :)
